Here's something I HAD to share with all of you. I've been going to Tasty Pot Steamboat @ Mentari, Sunway a couple of times before but never notice this signage below (I'm guessing it's new) until now.

So remember people... next time you CHANGE PLATE, it's RM10. LOL!

Two Test Tickles PDF Print E-mail
Friday, 22 July 2011 02:21

Here's a joke I came across yesterday which I just had to share with all of you. LOL!

A new employee is hired at the Tickle Me Elmo (a cuddly toy which laughs when tickled) factory. The Personnel Manager explains her duties and tells her to report to work promptly at 8.00am.

The next day at 8.45am there is a knock at the Personnel Manager's door. The assembly line foreman comes in and starts ranting about this new employee. He says she is incredibly slow and the whole line is backing up. The foreman takes the Personnel Manager down to the factory floor to show him the problem.

Sure enough, Elmos are backed up all over the place. At the end of the line is the new employee. She has a roll of material used for the Elmos and a big bag of marbles. They both watch as she cuts a little piece of fabric, wraps it around two marbles and starts sewing the little package between Elmo's legs.

The Personnel Manager starts laughing hysterically. After several minutes, he pulls himself together, walks over to the woman and says "I am sorry, I guess you misunderstood me yesterday. I said, your job is to give Elmo "two test tickles".

Time for a swim! PDF Print E-mail

I can't remember when was the last time I got into a pool but since today was a good day like any other, I thought I'd jump in and give it a couple of laps.

Looks nice, doesn't it? I've been living here at least a year already but today was my first time plunging into the pool...

SHCPool

...and what a mistake that was! Right now, my whole body's aching and even walking up steps hurts. *Ouch!*

I think I'll "torture" myself again the next day till my body get used to it. Anyone care to join?

Random Pix - Jack The Cat PDF Print E-mail
Tuesday, 10 May 2011 13:52

Meet JACK the cat! He's the resident kitty kat which the Shisha Boys has sort of adopted and YES... you've guessed it! They named him JACK!

This lil' feline seems to sleep just about anywhere he can lay his head on. There was once where he slept on the trunk of a car and the driver drove off without realising this furry lil' creature was happily sleeping his furry butt off. Luckily Jack woke up before the car sped away.

Jack - "Oooo... the flash is blinding my eyes!"

As you can see, here he is sleeping on my bag while covering his eyes from the lights around him. What a lazy kitty!

"Wake up JACK! You're sleeping on my bag..."

Dessert's Bar @ Subang Parade PDF Print E-mail

Subang Parade... The place brings back memories of my younger days when it used to be my "2nd home" and where I had my first working experience as well. Ahhh... those were the days!

Anyway, I was there yesterday evening to meet up some people for some freelance work and we chilled at this place called Dessert's Bar. Quite a nice place to just hang out and sit around while tasting some of the delicious treats they have to offer from their menu. As for me, I had me a snack... I ordered me the Beef Bacon Croissant Sandwich and to wash that down, I had me the Grape Smoothie.

- GRAPE SMOOTHIE -

- BEEF BACON CROISSANT SANDWICH -

Just look at that beef bacon! *Sssslluuuurrrppp!!*

If the next time any of you are stopping by Subang Parade, be sure to check it out. Who knows... you might just end up going there all the time. *wink*

I was lying in bed when I looked out my window and saw that the moon was glowing ever so brightly and I quickly jumped out of bed to snap the beautiful view I was looking at.

It was a full moon and that photo was taken a week ago... I think. Anyway, now only managed to find time to upload it here. Nice view, ain't it?

My Bangkok trip - (19th - 21st March 2011) PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 03 April 2011 06:38

It's been almost a year or more since I last went over to Bangkok, Thailand and all I can recall is that every time I'm over there, I never fail to gain a lil' more weight. Hahahaha! I can't help it... food over there are hard to resist.

Anyway, going back there again last month was FUN! No... nooo!! Not THAT kind of "fun!". I know what some of you out there are thinking. Notty notty...!!!

Here are some photos to tell my story over at BKK...

I stayed over at Siam Kempinski Hotel - Bangkok and I must say... It's a beautiful hotel and I'd recommend this hotel to anyone who wants visits Bangkok. The photos above are by the entrance and the lobby area. The photo on the bottom right is the path to the room elevators.Nice, riiigghhtt?

Below are photos of the view from my room. Check it out!

Simply BEAUTIFUL! The swimming pool surrounds the whole area and if you can see from the photo on the top right, guest who are living on the ground floor can just open up their door and walk into the pool for a swim. Unfortunately for me, I didn't even dip my toes into the pool. Perhaps next time when I go BKK again, I'll make sure to check out the pool of the hotel I'm staying... because I normally don't.

Next is the view of my room from INSIDE!

So.. whaddya think? In case you're wondering, there IS a blind that rolls down and covers the bathroom glass. See the TV? DAMN!! It comes with a keyboard so you can actually go online as well.

Last but not least are some photos of the food which I've no doubt in my mind are the reasons I've gained a lil' weight during my stay.

There were actually more but I was too busy devouring my food until I realized I had forgotten to take photos of them before I put in down into my ever-waiting tummy! LOL! At least I remembered some of them... Hahahaha!

It was sad to leave but I'll look forward to my next trip to BKK again. By the way, I'll upload more photos of my trip to My Gallery soon. Be sure to check it out!

A love story that inspires all... Chris Medina & Juliana Ramos PDF Print E-mail
Monday, 28 March 2011 15:03

I'm currently a BIG FAN of the latest season of American Idol (AI) and it made me wonder..."What happened to Chris Medina?"

For those of you don't follow AI, Chris Medina was eliminated before making this season's top 24. Jennifer Lopez was the one that had to break the bad news to Medina and after he walked away, Jennifer broke down and had to be consoled by both Randy and Steve because she feared she didn't break the news to him the right way.

The video below will explain what I'm talking about and why his story has captured the hearts of everyone who came to know about it.

"What kind of guy would I be if I walked out when she needed me the most" - Chris Medina

Honestly, he's PRETTY GOOD but it's a shame that this season's contestants are DAMN GOOD as well so unfortunately, Medina were one of the many that was sent home.

However, that wasn't the last we would hear of him because producer, Rodney Jerkins was so touched by Medina's story that he actually wrote a song just for Medina titled, "What Are Words". It's a very beautiful and heart warming song and the lyrics says it all. Here's the official video clip below.

Reading about him and his fiance (Juliana Ramos) online really brings tears to my eyes. Go ahead and Google his name... You'll find many more interesting stories and what has become of Medina and Juliana which I have personally came across.

"Wet paint. Don't torch" PDF Print E-mail
Sunday, 13 March 2011 15:59

Here's something that was sticking to the entry door at the place where I live... It's soooo funny!

Not only is the spelling wrong for the word "TOUCH" but some smarty pants added the letter "U" to the misspelled word and now it spells out "TOURCH". Let's just hope no joker will come along and actually do what the sign says and TORCH up the door. LOL!
